Discover Ancient Medulin at the New Explora Vižula Centre

The Vižula peninsula has long been recognized as one of the most important archaeological sites in Istria, and starting this September, visitors can experience its rich history in a whole new way. With the opening of the Explora Vižula Interpretation Center, Medulin’s ancient heritage comes to life through interactive content, multimedia, and engaging stories of Roman life.

Located right next to the archaeological site, the new center takes visitors on a journey through the history of the luxurious Roman villa that once stood on Vižula, as well as the daily lives of its inhabitants, local legends, and fascinating facts that shaped the area.

The center’s opening on September 4th and 5th will be particularly exciting, as Vižula turns into a stage for the ancient world. Visitors can look forward to gladiators, legionnaires, ancient crafts, interpretive walks, and activities for the whole family.
