The Valkane beach is partly pebble and partially concrete and is suitable for families with children because of the mild entrance into the sea and thanks to the location in a quiet bay. It is also intended for disabled people and provided with a ramp for convenient access to the sea. On the beach are outdoor showers, changing cabins and public toilets, as well as a cafe where you can refresh yourself with a cold drink. Near Valkane is also a sport centre where you can rent pedal boats and equipment for tennis, beach volleyball and other sports. This beach was also awarded with the Blue Flag, a recognition for extremely clean sea and beaches.

The beach is easy accessible to young children thanks to the gentle entrance to the sea and thanks to the thick pine tops it is possible to find natural shade, which is why this beach is often visited by families and the Rescue service takes care of the safety of the swimmers from 11am to 7pm. Big fans of this beach are also adrenaline lovers, as the beach is located near the rocky shore that is ideal for sea jumps, and above the beach there is a beach bar where you can enjoy a refreshing summer cocktail. Gortan bay is also often visited by young people at night, since it is enlightened and ideal for night-time bathing.

Sveta stijena is just a few meters away from Kanjon, and it is named after a legend saying that there was a church that was demolished by a storm. Sveta stijena is just a few meters below our Park Plaza Arena hotel and is also a very popular place to organize weddings thanks to its romantic ambience, beautiful sea views and unforgettable sunsets.

Valseline beach is suitable for all age groups, but it is especially popular with families because of its numerous facilities, mild sea access and numerous parking facilities close to the beach.

The beaches are enlightened in the evening thanks to the lighting of restaurants located above the beach, so they are often the destination for night swimming. The peninsula Zlatne stijene also features restaurants and cafés, so it is possible to enjoy Mediterranean delicacies and refreshing drinks after a day spent in the sun, and thanks to its promenade, it is possible to walk along the coast and enjoy the nature and the beautiful views of the sea.

Thanks to its position, the sea is very calm even during the Bura/Bora or Jugo wind. While Saccorgiana is a pebble beach, above the beach is a grassy part where it is possible to relax on a towel or a deck chair in natural shade thanks to the pines. The beach is popular for parents with small children (nearby the beach is a playground for children), but also for young people, since there is a beach bar directly on the beach, surrounded by pine trees that provide natural shade and make it an ideal place to relax after lying on the sun. You can also rent deck chairs on the beach, while pedal boats and jet skis are also nearby. The rocky part of this beach is a beach for dogs.

On the beach you can rent pedal boats, kayaks, segways and tennis courts, as well as accessories for numerous sports such as golf, beach volleyball and mini golf, while you can play table tennis and other sports in the Verudela Sports Centre. New in offer is also the metta float SUP. Above this beach is our restaurant Oliva, which offers a rich variety of Istrian delicacies and refreshing cocktails.

The lighthouse dates back to 1877, and the sea beneath it is especially wavy during the wind “Jugo”, which is why bathing in the sea is prohibited during this strong wind. The Lighthouse beach is rocky and suitable for sunbathing, but getting into the sea is a bit difficult. Because of this reason, the beach is not suitable for families with children and for elderly people, while adventurers will enjoy it here. On this beach there is also a restaurant where you can refresh yourself with ice cream or enjoy a lunch on the terrace of the restaurant with a beautiful sea view.

This beach is popular for families with small children thanks to the easy access to the sea, but also to those who love adrenaline challenges, since the beach is located in a cove surrounded by high cliffs that are ideal for sea jumps. Above the beach there are green areas where guests of our hotel Park Plaza Arena have beds and swings at their disposal, while the youngest can enjoy a small park with swings, slides, etc. This beach is also supervised by lifeguards daily from 11am to 7pm.

This beach is, as well as the beaches Ambrela and Histria, thanks to the clean sea and all the additional amenities on the beach. Brioni beach is rocky but also partially paved in and is connected to the pebble beach Ambrela. Numerous sports facilities are offered on the Brioni beach, such as jet skiing, banana rides, parasailing, boat rental, etc. There is also an underwater park nearby where you can walk under the sea, sit on the bench and feed fish, or simply observe shipwrecks, so this beach is a favourite among young people and fun and sports enthusiasts.

This beach is ideal for a whole day's stay since it is surrounded by pine trees and one can enjoy the natural shade from the trees. For this reason, but also because of the easy access to the sea, this beach is popular and well visited by our guests. The beach is mostly visited by adults and couples who enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.
