Suitable for the water activites such as Sup surfing (touring). In the season the beach is attended by lifeguard. 

There are no sun loungers and the water is usually very shallow, so you need to take your own towels and gear with you. Paltana is good for surfing, however there are surf schools operating on the beach at Paltana that will rent out equipment if required.
