Croatian Cross Country Team Championship at Arena Grand Kažela Campsite
The Arena Grand Kažela Campsite in Medulin is ideal for hosting sports events. Thanks to its size and surface, the camp offers facilities for various athletic disciplines and sports activities, including cross-country running races. Therefore, the Arena Grand Kažela was the first choice of the Istrian Athletics Federation for organizing the Croatian Cross Country Team Championship, which will take place on March 11, 2023. The organization of this event is part of the World Cross Country Championships WXC24 Medulin & Pula project, where the Istrian Athletics Federation acts as one of the co-organizers and local athletic institutions for support and organization of everything related to the athletic part of the project. The Croatian Cross Country Team Championship at the Arena Grand Kažela will contribute to the success of this major project and showcase to the world the attractiveness and beauty of the natural environment where cross-country running races are held. This event is a great honour as it proves the camp's ability to host major sports events and that it is an ideal location for holding sports competitions in nature, all with the aim of strengthening the athletics scene in Croatia and promoting this sport worldwide.
