Save the dates 14 – 15 April 2023 and sign up for the Istria Granfondo international cycling marathon. The ninth edition of the marathon with the start and finish line in Umag will offer an even richer program this year.
If you are up for a real challenge, choose between the two routes for the bold and physically fit riders – 94 km long route of Istria Medio Fondo and 119 km long route of Istria Gran Fondo. Both will take place on Saturday, 15 April 2023, in Umag. They pass through the northwestern and central parts of the Istrian peninsula, and return to Umag. In order to catch your breath on the way, we have prepared 4 refreshment stops. Both races start and finish in the beautiful Stella Maris Resort, just next to the Goran Ivanišević ATP stadium in Umag. Race numbers will be available for pick up from Friday 14 April 2023.
The marathon that brought together as many as 700 cyclists from 15 countries, more than 300 members in the organization team, 150 volunteers as well as members of various cycling teams, this year has 77 prizes in store for the best cyclists in addition to valuable prizes for male and female winners.
