Vlatko Stefanovski
Vlatko Stefanovski, a virtuoso guitarist and a regional rock star, returns to Brijuni to repeat the success of last year’s concert. Impeccable techniques and recognizable sound, this famous Macedonian musician has recorded and played with many world-known names and domestic musicians in his rich career and profiled as one of the greatest guitar virtuosos. He celebrated himself with the cult musical band of Leb and Sol, whom he founded as a young man, and which became one of the most important bands of former Yugoslavia. They recorded 14 albums and played all over the world, and after their break, Stefanovski started a very successful independent career and issued an impressive collection of stand-alone releases. In recent years he has created music for film and the theatre, and he has achieved an enviable world career. He has collaborated with many great world musicians such as Tommy Emmanuel, Stochel Rosenberg, Gibonni, Jan Akkerman, Stefan Milenković and others. As a soloist he performed with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Monte Carlo Symphony Orchestra, the Slovene Philharmonic and the Big Band of HRT among others.
